(What do BIS Occupational Therapists do?? Watch here to find out…)
Beit Issie Shapiro was invited to join an EU-funded research group on the issue of children with disabilities and play. Two of our occupational therapists, Noa Nitzan and Dana Cappel, who represent BIS on the group’s technology-focused task force, take part in its meetings, share knowledge and learn from others.
They recently returned from Vilnius, Lithuania, where they met with world renowned experts in the field, including Prof. Anita Bundy from the University of Sydney, a renowned occupational therapist who has developed a working model and an evaluation tool in field of play. They also presented BIS’ iPad project on the use of iPads for play.
