Jean Judes, Executive Director of Beit Issie Shapiro, gave a lecture at the Zero Project Conference on Employment and Occupational Training for People with Disabilities. The conference was held in Vienna in February 2017.

 

The lecture dealt with the way in which Beit Issie Shapiro leverages programs into change and impact at a national, and even international level – leveraging that is so lacking among civil society organizations around the world. Also participating in the joint panel with Genio organization from Ireland was Avital Yanovsky, an expert on occupational diversity, and Beit Issie Shapiro’s partner in the Business Informatics course.

 

The Zero Project is an Austrian organization serving as a platform for collecting best practices in the field of disabilities Every year, the organization puts out a manifesto on a different aspects of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities, and presents the best practices in a report and at a conference on the subject.
