Use and development of assistive technologies among students with disabilities
Talk at the BETT Conference, London

Noa Nitzan - Occupational Therapist, Technology Consulting Center, Beit Issie Shapiro, Israel

2019

Noa Nitzan, Professional Director of Beit Issie Shapiro’s Technology Center, recently presented on the main stage at the BETT Conference held in London – the world’s biggest annual education technology event. Noa presented to hundreds of people about the use and development of assistive technologies among students with disabilities. The presentation focused on implementation in the field, ideas for creative uses, working with the family, as well as our entrepreneurship and app development.

Since conferences on education technologies rarely include sessions on disabilities, this presentation and others like it, are instrumental in highlighting this issue to professionals and developers working in the field.
