Effecting Policy Change for Afrika Tikkun, Johannesburg, South Africa

Beit Issie Shapiro has been providing capacity-building support to Afrika Tikkun since the beginning of 2017.

Following our 2018 study visit, we visited again in 2019 and together with the Afrika Tikkun team developed an inclusion policy for the organization’s early childhood education frameworks. Excitingly, this policy was officially adopted by Afrika Tikkun in October 2019.  

Representatives from Afrika Tikkun will be visiting Beit Issie Shapiro in early 2020 to deepen their knowledge on the implementation of the new inclusion policy.
