Visiting the dentist can be traumatic for children. For children with disabilities, anesthesia is often needed in order to carry out even the simplest of checks.
Beit Issie Shapiro opened the Naomi & Shimon Ditkovsky Dental Clinic in 1989 to provide comprehensive oral health and dental treatment services for people with developmental disabilities.
We have developed a unique method of treating people with disabilities, using Snoezelen components to adapt the clinical environment to the patient’s sensory needs. The results have been outstanding with anesthesia only now needed to carry out the most difficult procedures.
