The booklet describes the inception, planning and founding of Friendship park - Park Chaverim .

Park Chaverim is Israel’s first accessible and inclusive playground, situated within the Ra’anana Park and open to the public. Park Chaverim provides children with different abilities and special needs with opportunities to participate in leisure and recreation activities and interact with their peers. A great deal of thought was given to every piece of equipment to ensure that the park is safe, enjoyable and fun, while taking into consideration a wide array of elements: installations, pathways, access roads, lighting and sitting areas. The equipment was carefully selected to ensure appeal, durability and easy maintenance, an environment that is rich in stimuli that motivate movement and shared activities for a large number of children at the same time.
