KKL Italy Supports Beit Issie Shapiro’s Accessible Playgrounds Project

Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael Italia held a beautiful gala dinner in Rome supporting Beit Issie Shapiro’s accessible playgrounds project, transforming the lives of children with disabilities in Israel and promoting a model for inclusion around the world.

The Ambassador of Israel to Itay, Ofer Sachs, (pictured right), fellow dignitaries of Italy and supporters were also in attendance. 

In the words of Ruthi, mother of Erez (pictured below):

“For Erez, this project is not only about making a playground accessible, it is about enabling independence, building confidence and letting kids do the best thing in life – have fun!”
