Noa Nitzan, Director of Beit Issie Shapiro’s Tech Center, featured at conference in Kazakhstan
Noa Nitzan, the Director of Beit Issie Shapiro’s Technology Center, was invited to present at the recently held conference entitled “Research and Practical Ways of Ensuring Quality of Life for Children with Disabilities” in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The purpose of the conference, organized by the SATR Center, was two fold – to enhance the rights and services available for children with disabilities in Kazakhstan and to advance national policy.
Noa presented a captivating overview of the primary assistive technology tools available for children with disabilities in various fields, as well as an overview of the existing policies and regulations in Israel in the field of disabilities.
Conference participants were deeply impressed with the work of Beit Issie Shapiro and the advances made by Beit Issie Shapiro in the field. We are excited by the possible international collaborations and partnerships with both conference participants and organizers, which could stem from Noa’s participation and presentation.
