Beit Issie Shapiro’s International Conference on Disabilities takes place every four years under the auspices of the Trump International Institute for Continuing Education in Developmental Disabilities. These global events are a unique opportunity for academic, medical and community professionals, researchers, policy-makers, service providers, people with disabilities and family members to meet with colleagues from around the world and take part in the latest knowledge, research and practice in the field.
Beit Issie Shapiro’s next International Conference on Disabilities is planned to take place in 2021.
In recent months, Beit Issie Shapiro (BIS) has developed a strategic partnership with the Florida International University (FIU), as part of our global vision. This collaboration is focused on knowledge exchange, joint research and Beit Issie Shapiro’s 7th International Conference.
Much like BIS, FIU, the fourth largest university in the United States, is committed to promoting opportunities and the quality of life of people with disabilities and their communities, through its Embrace Program. We believe that this partnership will help BIS to expand its global professional network in order to better develop innovative and up-to-date initiatives. It will also promote the quality of life of children and adults with disabilities and their families internationally.
Together with our partners at FIU, we have decided that the Beit Issie Shapiro 7th International Conference will now take place in 2021. A new Save the Date will be issued shortly. We believe that this partnership will make an enormous contribution to the conference and we are committed to creating an outstanding experience for all who attend.
