UKFOBIS Event at Victoria Miro Gallery, London

In honour of Jean’s Trip to London in June, the Board of the UK Friends of Beit Issie Shapiro were delighted to organize an event at the prestigious Victoria Miro Gallery in Mayfair, London. 

The Gallery is currently hosting an exhibition of abstract paintings by international women artists, and Jean delivered a wonderful presentation on our work in Israel. In keeping with the theme of the event, Jean focused on the issue of women with disabilities, and showcased our women with disabilities leadership programme, just one example of how Beit Issie is empowering women with disabilities to make social change.
