The booklet presents a model for supported decision-making, divided into three parts: The first part, the background, provides a brief overview of the need to develop a supported decision-making service. The second part, the model, includes a long series of elements: the vision and guiding values, outline of the support, and the ethical principles and dilemmas that arise around this support. The third part includes appendices that expand on various aspects of the model: a description of the pilot, an overview of the new law regarding supported decision-making, a background article on guardianship in Israel, and a discussion of the need to adapt the model to groups with particular characteristics.
