The Swedish Friends of Beit Issie Shapiro are dedicated to supporting the amazing work of Beit Issie Shapiro.  Beit Issie Shapiro is Israel’s leading organization in the field of disability furthering the rights, opportunities and services for people with intellectual and physical disabilities.

Fredslogen-Stockholm was established in 1945 as a human rights and charity organization. In 2008 the Fredslogen–Stockholm honored Beit Issie Shapiro by adopting the organization as its sole charity. It is now the Fredslogen-BIS and operates as Beit Issie Shapiro’s Swedish Friends.

Support from our Swedish Friends impacts the quality of lives of children with disabilities and their families throughout Israel. All the funds raised by the Fredslogen-BIS are allocated to the Jonah Press Sport and Recreation Center.

Based in Stockholm, our Board is led by Peter Goldman.
